BLOG: It’s Thanksgiving time!
Man, time has flown by! I can’t believe there is less than a month of this semester left.
That means I have only three semesters left here before I’m thrown into the real “real world.” My parents claimed the real world started during college, so I guess after college it’s the real “real world,” haha.
Well, the UND women’s hockey team did something pretty remarkable, they beat Minnesota! It was something pretty cool that I got to write about it. I wish I could have actually watched the game but hey, we won, so that’s all that matters.
Homework has hit the motherload, so I can’t wait to get the heck out of here for Thanksgiving to hopefully have some time with family and relax and eat!
The cold weather setting in has made my car very grumpy, but it’s no surprise since it’s a 17-year-old car. Every time I head to work though, I get a little nervous about whether or not my car will start.
Jesse has been a saint like always. Not only has he has helped me study for my tests, he’s also made sure I am studying.
He’s been a big help and has given me confidence when I really didn’t think I had it in me. I owe him a lot. He’s one of the things I’m most thankful for in my life.
My family, of course is another, and the life I have: getting an education, working two jobs, a loving boyfriend that would do absolutely anything for me, a supportive family and great friends are all things I’m thankful for and lucky to have.
Make sure you take the time to realize what you have in your life to be thankful for. See you all next time!
