Next week marks the start of one of the most stress filled weeks of the semester for many students at UND as finals week takes place between December 16 and December 20. At the Student Involvement Office, you can find a much-needed reprieve as vouchers from Red Pepper, Crisp & Green, and Nautical Bowls are being given out to students for free from Monday December 9 to December 13. All that you must do is provide a valid student ID to the student involvement desk and claim your voucher while supplies last.
With the presentation of your final week voucher, you will have the opportunity to power through your study sessions without breaking the bank on your favorite foods whether you are craving hard-shell tacos from red pepper, a chopped salad from crisp & green, or a nutrient packed açai bowl from nautical bowls. This promotional event has been on-going for several years now and has become one of the most touted vouchers that the UND student body has to offer for students throughout the semester.
Third-year university student, Matthew Greiwahn, who took advantage of the finals week voucher promotion last semester spoke about how it impacted his experience during finals week. Griewahn stated that “finals week has always been stressful but being able to force myself to go out and grab some free food with my voucher last year as I studied really played a big role in alleviating my stress and taking my mind off of studying.” These upcoming finals week you are encouraged to do the same and take advantage of the ongoing promotions with the associated businesses.
Regardless of whether you are dreading your finals this semester, they are rapidly approaching so it is incredibly important to set time within your schedule to study and find a strategy that works with you. This can include designating a certain part of each day to studying content and collectively prioritizing your schedule so that you can manage all the things that you need to do in a healthy and efficient manner. Without down playing the importance of prioritizing frequent study breaks, such as visiting either Red Pepper, Crisp & Green, or Nautical Bowls to grab something to eat. It is impossible to operate at full capacity without a clear mind and well-nourished body, so make sure to take care of yourself these upcoming weeks.
Lastly, supplies are limited so be sure to visit the UND Student Involvement Office this week and grab your finals week voucher while you can, as you proactively take the time to set yourself up for success this round of finals at the conclusion of the fall semester at UND.
