Urban Stampede, one of Grand Forks’ most popular coffee shops, is nestled cozily downtown among various other small businesses. Urban Stampede is known amongst all ages for its attractive, cozy vibe and one-of-a-kind espresso. Each season, the staff at Urban Stampede create drink specials that cater perfectly to each season, with the most recent fall menu being no exception. Each special is handcrafted to suit all crowds, providing teas, coffees, and even Italian sodas.  

The first special is a French Toast Latte. This latte contains hints of cinnamon, maple, nutmeg, and Urban’s French Toast Syrup. For those who are looking for more of a neutral, less sweet drink, this is the ideal fit for you. Served excellently either hot or iced, the French Toast Latte is a hit, creating the perfect fall blend of warm, comforting flavors. Coupled with Dogwood Coffee Co, espresso and your choice of milk, the drink is guaranteed to check all of your fall drink boxes.  

They also have the Toffee Nut Mocha. This creation can be customized with choice of milk and is made with espresso, dark chocolate, and toffee nut syrup. The Toffee Nut Mocha can be served hot or iced and is the perfect drink if you want a little something sweet, in addition to caffeine.  

Next, and probably my favorite, is the Pumpkin Pie Cold Brew. This delectable drink is created with cold brew and pumpkin cold foam, mimicking Starbucks’ seasonal pumpkin cold brew. This creation far exceeds every fall drink expectation, pairing rich pumpkin tones with the crisp, natural bitterness of cold brew. It is one of my favorites that I recommend to all.  

Fourth, is the Pumpkin Spice Chai. Chai is perhaps the most fitting fall drink with notes of cinnamon, nutmeg, and warm spiced chai. Urban’s special is beautifully coupled with pumpkin syrup, to create a pleasant combination of fall flavors. Served hot or iced, a Pumpkin Spice Chai from Urban is a great selection if you want the fall flavors with less caffeine.  

Lastly, we have the Candy Corn Italian Soda and Sweater Weather Mistea. The Candy Corn Italian Soda is an Italian Soda base, accompanied with cream and candy corn syrup. An Italian Soda is a great alternative to a tea or coffee, with an abundance of flavor profiles with a refreshing taste. The Sweater Weather Mistea is a delicious combination of passionfruit tea, apple cookie butter, and cinnamon. Apple cookie butter and cinnamon pair well to create a smooth, divine fall signature. Tea is a great fall drink that is best enjoyed as the cool temperatures roll in.  

Urban Stampede is the perfect cozy coffee shop with delicious and unique fall drinks. It is a great place to try something new while studying, conversing with friends, or just hanging out. Grabbing a drink from Urban Stampede is an excellent way to support locals and enjoy a fall drink while they are on special.
