Lotus Yoga has served as a Grand Forks staple for a number of years. The woman-owned business has seen exponential growth in the recent months due to the outstanding demand for their exceptional services. Lotus Yoga has historically offered classes ranging from Yoga Flow to Yoga Sculpt, with classes available at all times throughout the day. Just a few months ago, the studio introduced Reformer Pilates classes, which have had nothing but success. To match the demand for their services, Lotus has now expanded and opened a studio on the south end of Grand Forks. The studio became open to the public on Mar. 25 and has quickly become a hot spot for local yogis and students alike.
The new south studio, located at 2015 Library Circle, is equipped with a large hot studio for classes. Hot studios offer an additional challenge from a normal Yoga Flow and Yoga Sculpt, as the resting temperature for the room is around one hundred degrees. There is an abundance of benefits to working out in a hot studio including improved cardiovascular health, detoxification through sweating, and an improved mind body connection. Lotus Yoga promotes proper yoga technique and teaches many kinds of yoga to those who attend.
To properly celebrate the opening of the new studio, Lotus Yoga held their Grand Opening on Mar 29, allowing guests to visit the studio and take classes, free of charge. One of the classes was taught by studio owner and business trailblazer, Mickenzy Hanson. Hanson taught Shakti Sculpt, a class centralized around inner feminine power, strength, and awareness, combined with the discipline and strength training of a traditional sculpt class.
Lotus Yoga has taken a step further and introduced an app that makes booking classes more streamlined. The Lotus Yoga app was released in February and makes booking and viewing your classes a very quick process.
Lotus Yoga consistently caters to their guests, providing the best possible experience for those who attend, regardless of experience level. The new south studio brings excitement and promise of continued growth for the company. For more information, visit lotusyogagf.com, or follow Lotus Yoga on social media.
