Between student fees and tuition, there can be heavy costs associated with attending a university. While scholarships and grants help deduct these fees, they may not account for the costs that come with becoming an adult such as rent, groceries, and bills, much less clothes, entertainment, or technology.
Luckily, the University of North Dakota students live among a community, Grand Forks, and globe that offers discounts to students. Like services that act as a scholarship database for students to apply to, there are countless applications that organize student discounts for college students.
Two of these applications that students can take advantage of are UNiDAYS and Student Beans.
Student Beans offers student discounts, exclusive savings on a product or service only offered to those studying full time at a higher-education institution, from thousands of stores both in-person and online. While UNiDAYS is a digital platform that provides exclusive student benefits and discounts from over eight hundred brands.
To register for these services, Student Beans can be accessed from studentbeans.com, the App Store, or Google Play. UNiDAYS can be accessed at myunidays.com, the App Store, or Google Play as well.
Once accessed, students can enroll for Student Beans by creating an account, entering general information such as your name, birthday, graduation year, and student email to browse the student discounts Student Beans has to offer. UNiDAYS also follows an identical process but has different discounts available.
Similarly, both services organize discounts for food and drink, clothing, technology, cosmetics, health, fitness, entertainment, and travel.
Students can see for themselves what specific brands are offered from each service, but some include Nike, Gymshark, lululemon, Apple, Amazon Prime, Ticketmaster, Hulu, Peacock, Disney+, and more from Student Beans.
While UNiDAYS offers discounts on products and services from On Cloud, Under Armor, Levi’s, Max, Dell, Quest Nutrition, Myprotein, Converse, Adobe, and more.
To continually qualify for these student discounts, students will have to reverify their student status annually.
While the price of attending university continues to gradually increase, corners can be cut by taking advantage of these student discounts both outlined in this article, found in your community, or across the internet.
