Between Monday November 18 and Tuesday November 19, UND Study Abroad hosted its “Snapshots of Adventure” photo gallery exhibition on the first floor of the Memorial Union, which displayed the experiences and different places around the world in which UND students traveled to in accordance with their study abroad programs.
These destinations included the likes of countless different countries ranging from the vibrant Mediterranean coastline in Alicante, Spain to mountainous terrain in Bangladesh. The gallery itself was impressive as it highlighted the experiences of students and listed their names and where they were visited. There was a level of detail and precision to the exhibition as different groups of photos were sorted together based on the region of the world that students studied.
This made the photo gallery easy to digest and gave viewers alongside prospective study abroad students an idea of just some of the opportunities abroad that study abroad programs at UND have to offer. Specifically, regarding the fact that it showcased non-traditional and traditional locations alike, highlighting that there truly is a program that can fit the needs of any prospective student that is thinking about studying abroad.
Bridging the gap between the exhibition and making the possibility of visiting some of these locations a reality, it is recommended that you visit the University’s study abroad page for more details. The interactive webpage goes into much greater detail regarding the proactive steps that you will need to take and the requirements to apply to differing programs around the world in an intuitive manner.
As of now the deadline for programs this upcoming Spring has already passed, but if you are considering studying abroad this summer or the upcoming fall semester in 2025 you will want to ensure that you have your applications in by their respective deadlines, February 15 for the summer, and March 1 for the Fall.
There are countless different opportunities to study abroad here at UND and the photo gallery that was displayed only brushed upon the surface of the positive experiences that students have had taking on a program abroad this past year. If you think that this is something that you want to be a part of during your experience here at UND, be sure to start taking the proactive steps now as you plan a journey that very well may prove to be an experience that sticks with you for a lifetime.
