Grand Forks has its fair share of arts and entertainment. Albeit an arguably small community, we have everything from niche to well-known options for entertainment. With multiple theater performances, public music shows, and everything in between, you’re never short of a fun night in Grand Forks. Coming up this Saturday, you could find yourself watching some local music from Grand Forks and beyond all while spookily clad, and hot dog in hand literally.
Ojata records, cozily nuzzled inside Dogmahal, a local hotdog and food shop on the corner of University and South Washington Street, is a record store that hosts occasional live music. Saturday, October 28th, Ojata records is hosting their “Halloweenie Hella-Buloo” starting at 5pm. Entry is $15, which gives you access to nine local bands’ live music. Treats will be available from the snack bar and the event sponsor, Dogmahal.
Not only can you attend some local live band performances, hot dog in hand, you can do it in your favorite costume. In addition to the music, the food, and the obvious vibes, there is a costume contest in honor of Halloween. The best three costumes will win a prize. What better way to spend your Halloweekend?
You can find yourself at this hella-buloo at 305 N Washington Street, Grand Forks, ND. For further information, check out Ojata at @ojatamahal on Instagram.
