It has been an eventful week in the lives of some of our favorite celebrities this past week. Tik Tok has been blowing up as they come out and share their sides of what has occurred, and Entertainment, TMZ, and even the Daily Mail has been covering these hot topics as they have arisen. Since there is so much fake news that bombards us with information we have to sort between facts and fiction, here is a little update about celebrity happenings that have occurred.
Fans were shocked to hear rumors spiraling that Sophie Turner, the queen of the north, and Joe Jonas had split. Rumors started spiraling, on Tik Tok first, when people claimed that Jonas didn’t wear his wedding ring on the night of his and his brother’s world tour. Soon after, a source reported that Jonas filed for a divorce against Turner. Once the media started spiraling, the now separated couple came forward and confirmed the rumors to be true. After 4 years of marriage and having two children together, the couple we love has mutually decided to separate. Both Turner and Jonas have posted to their social media addressing the separation in a similar statement saying, “this is a united decision, and we sincerely hope that everyone can respect our wishes for privacy for us and our children.”
On a lighthearted note, a new pairing has made an announcement as the couple made their debut at a Beyonce concert. Timothee Chalamet and Kylie Jenner have made it official. Apparently, the couple first connected at the Met Gala back in April and have kept their romance a secret since then. Chalamet, who you may know from films such as Dune and Lady Bird, first started talking to Jenner, best known for Keeping up with the Kardashians and her makeup empire at New York Fashion Week earlier this year, according to People magazine.
Finally, some local news includes Josh Duhammel and Audra Mari who celebrated their first wedding anniversary. Duhammel is best known for his Nicholas Sparks film, Safe Haven, and known North Dakotan native. Him and his wife got married in Fargo on September 10, 2022, on top of the Jasper Hotel. Some throwback photos were recently posted by the Fargo Brewing Company, which is especially fitting since Audra Mari recently announced that her and her husband are expecting a baby.
The start of September brought us ups and downs in such a short period of time. As we move into the rest of the month, we can only hope that we won’t get as much whiplash in the weeks to come.
