Just over a month away from the Big Sky Conference tournament, the UND women’s basketball team is making its way closer to the top.
In its most recent homestand, North Dakota took down Southern Utah 67-52 last Thursday before defeating Northern Arizona 78-62.
The wins improved UND’s mark at home as it now holds a 20-6 all-time record at home in the Big Sky. In the last two seasons, that record has risen to 15-1.
Mia Loyd, Emily Evers and Makailah Dyer had standout performances last Saturday as the trio accounted for 60 of UND’s total points.
The team’s next game will take place Thursday in Missoula Mont., as UND will face the Griz, then travel to Bozeman to take on Montana State on Saturday.
