Dakota Student to host open house

The Dakota Student, UND’s school newspaper, is hosting an open house on Oct. 10, from 3 to 6 p.m. in Room 8, Memorial Union basement.

All are welcome. Stop by and meet staff members, enjoy cookies and refreshments and talk about the newspaper.

Astronomy talk open to the public 

Endowed Chair for Astrophysics Geza Kovacs and Department of Physics and Astrophysics Oliver Benediktson will be giving a public talk Oct. 14 at 11 p.m. in 116 Witmer Hall.

After the talk, students will have an opportunity to view the sky through a telescope.
