The UND Athletics Department will hold open auditions to sing the national anthem for remaining UND home game sporting events for the 2013-14 season.

Auditions are open to the public and will take place Wednesday in the Ralph Engelstad Arena from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Pre-registration is not required.

Performances will be evaluated on vocal talents that fit with the atmosphere of sporting events by representatives from the UND Athletics Department and Ralph Engelstad Arena.

Tryout participants who are selected to perform the national anthem at sporting events will be contacted with a schedule of available dates for the 2013-14 season.

For those who cannot be in attendance for the auditions, but would like to be considered, a link of a video hosted by services like YouTube.com should be sent to [email protected] — though in-person performances are strongly encouraged.

Participants should enter through the main doors of Ralph Engelstad Arena and proceed to the concourse area, where they will be greeted by a member of the athletics department who will obtain registration information.
