As part of Exceptional UND, the university is hosting a campus-wide photo contest this month.

The photo contest, which is sponsored in part by The Dakota Student and the UND Bookstore, encourages all staff and students to enter photos they feel prove that UND is exceptional. Photos are due Wednesday at midnight.

“The most important part of the contest is to get the community together and show the Higher Learning Commission that UND truly is an exceptional school,” Jennifer Swangler, Assistant Director of Enrollment Management and Marketing, said. “We are really trying to emphasize the five exceptional UND priorities with this contest.”

The five university priorities and photo categories are “Experience,” “Gather,” “Collaborate,” “Expand,” and “Enhance.”

Not only will the winner have their photo featured in the Dakota Student, but the photo also will be displayed across campus for the HLC’s visit in October.

Additional prizes include T-shirts, UND Bookstore gift cards and more.
